Everything is connected

The Oostvaardersplassen is a wild nature reserve near Amsterdam. On the edge of this National Park is the Nature Experience Centre Oostvaarders Almere, a base for the public and nature lovers. The Oostvaardersplassen are full of life. Under water, between the reeds, in the soil or in the air. The area is the nursery and the food barn for fish, birds and mammals. In the NBC Oostvaarders visitors, young and old, will find a compact interactive exhibition about the origin and nature in this area. Part of this exhibition is the digital presentation: “Everything is connected”, which explains the ecosystems in the area in a visual way. All the animals, plants, fungi and insects in the area are connected to each other.
